I'm working on a video about creating this.

I attached this image for reference; Ideas of mechanics I was thinking about adding.

I have some more ideas about a story and missions/objectives to complete and even upgrading your boat or getting new items like fishing rods clothes and hats. but that was far to much to add for this project. Most of my time spent on this was sunk into editing UI systems, haha. I made 3 systems that I didn't even use. I also started late when there was 3 days left and have spent roughly 30 hours on this project- though I wish I could have added more. let me know what you think of this project!
